Videos launched to explain Personal Injury Claims

Actons’ Personal Injury Team is celebrating the launch of their new series of online videos - designed specifically to speak directly to viewers in a friendly, personal and straightforward way.  There is no clutter, no distraction - just the simplicity of a solicitor explaining a quality service as if the viewer were meeting them face-to-face.

Each short video is lead by a member of the Personal Injury Team and contains information about some types of claims and how the team can help, such as:

Back pain victims suffer needlessly

Some people who have been suffering from back pain for years may not have been suffering with pain from their back at all but from their nerves instead.

It is estimated that a third of Britons that have been suffering with back pain are actually suffering with neuropathic pain.

Ban referral fees

We have all seen the adverts on the TV where so called solicitors firms offer to act for you for your personal injury claim on a no win no fee basis.  Unbeknown to most people the companies behind these adverts are not firms of solicitors at all but instead are “claims management companies” who will then sell on your claim for hundreds of pounds.

Kidney donor awarded £6.7 million in compensation

A man (who cannot be named for legal reasons) who bravely went through surgery to donate a kidney to his father has been awarded £6.7 million in compensation.  The man’s life expectancy has been shorted by 10 years as a result of the botched surgery.

The man has suffered health problems and had to suffer through dialysis.  He has already had to have a kidney transplant from his sister and it is believed that his condition wil deteriorate in the future.  The requirement to have a further kidney transplant is thought to be inevitable.

A fun day and a duty of care!

A claimant suffered serious personal injury after diving head first into an inflatable pool as part of a relay game. The event took place whilst he was attending a health and fun day at a Royal Air Force base.
