Our client had an accident in the Louth store of a well known DIY chain.

As he entered a shed on display outside the store, the floor gave way, causing his foot to go through the floor and onto the ground below.

As a result, he suffered a twisting and soft tissue injury to his foot and ankle.

We wrote a letter of claim to the store, and their insurers then admitted fault.

We are obtaining medical evidence to confirm our client’s injuries and to provide an opinion on how long his ongoing symptoms are likely to last into the future.

When our medical evidence is complete, we will negotiate a settlement of our client’s claim with the other side’s insurers.
